Once you have submitted your N-400 Application for citizenship, one of the final hurdles for citizenship, in the United States, is the Naturalization Test. The Naturalization test is an oral test, whcih is given by a USCIS Officer when you are given an appointment to go to the the USCIS office. When you come into the office for your appointment, you will then check in for your appointment, and be called back to an office with a USCIS agent. You are generally not allowed to a translator, but you are allowed to have an attorney come with you. Your attorney, however, will not be able to assist you with the test. The attorney will only be able to evaluate whether the test was fairly given.
